Meet The Red House Team
Get to know the dedicated stakeholders who make up Red House Staging! Our team is comprised of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and expertise to provide you with a great staging and impressive results.

Lyric Turner,
Founder & President
Lyric was working as a DC real estate agent when she saw the need for a unique service that could substantially transform and improve properties and their listing potential.
Drawing on her expertise in real estate, marketing, and project management, Lyric
launched Red House Staging & Interiors in 2005 to help owners and agents highlight
the best attributes of properties, helping them to sell quicker and oftentimes for more
money. The Company has grown from being a one-woman show to a staff of 30+
talented professionals. Together, the teams at Red House have staged thousands of
homes in the DC metro area.

Lyric and her business partner, Jaye Langmaid opened a hip, urban design studio and
furniture showroom in the Adams Morgan/U Street Corridor neighborhood of
Washington, DC in late November 2014. The retail showroom, Hudson & Crane,
features classic and on trend home furnishings, decor, art, lighting, rugs, and specialty lifestyle and gift items at an accessible price point.

Lyric launched Suite Exclusive as a sister company to Red House in order to meet the
needs of other staging professionals and Realtors who are in need of affordable furniture rental for their properties and listings. Suite Exclusive provides furniture rental catering to independent stagers with their own inventory of art and décor and also provides
lounge and conversation area furniture rental for events such as corporate meetings,
weddings, parties, and more.
Anne Christensen,
Chief Results Officer & Director of Design
Anne Christensen was a longtime Sr. Project Manager with Red House since May 2013
until taking on a new role as Chief Results Officer & Director of Design in August 2016. She has a Master’s Degree in historic preservation and city planning, three years of
experience in real estate selling multimillion properties in the Potomac and Bethesda
markets, and has three wonderful and intelligent children. Anne can really do it all, but her self-determined style strengths are in transitional/traditional spaces and paint color consultations. Anne has been known to tackle every challenge that comes her way and is one of the most positively motivated individuals out there. In her new role, as “team
cheerleader” she calls it, she is working diligently to motivate and push each and every
team member at Red House to achieve personal and companywide objectives and goals. Anne is a “Jill-of-all-trades” and is our go-to when things get tough.

Holly Theis,
Senior Project Manager
Holly Theis is one of our Senior Project Managers. She has lived in the DC Metro area
for over 15 years and has 2 Italian Greyhounds, Bella and Jojo, that she just can’t get
enough of! Holly came to Red House around 2009, back when the company was
much smaller and just a handful of employees. She quickly got noticed as one of the
best Staging Designers around and has been receiving accolades and requests for her
stunning work ever since. Her love for travel, experiencing new cultures, and meeting
new people is often exhibited in her design aesthetic. She is fun, hip, and trendy,
without trying too hard, and she tends to approach a space with a more eclectic sense
of style, mid-century modern being her favorite go-to. She loves trying new things
and is always coming up with bright ideas for unique spaces, finding fun and beautiful
ways to “work outside the box". Anyone that knows Holly will tell you that she is
creative, hardworking and kind, fresh and chic, and always up for a good time!
Sydney Gaskins,
Senior Project Manager
Sydney (Syd) Gaskins is one of our Senior Project Managers and joined the Red House
Staging Team in Spring of 2013. Since then, she has quickly grown into the role of Senior Project Manager and works on some of the most high-end and demanding staging
design projects the Metropolitan D.C. area has to offer. Before joining Red House, she
participated in a semester abroad in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where she undoubtedly
learned to be the life of the party and gained countless valuable life lessons. Syd graduated from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with a BFA in Interior
Architecture. Since then, Syd has been meticulous in her creative interiors and an
invaluable member of the Red House Team. Syd can be quick with a quip and just as
quick with a smile. Syd has the ability to transform a space from drab and dark to glitzy
and glam, and everything in between. Some of her favorite and most prolific styles that
she stages are contemporary, transitional, and modern.
